Holly and I (but mostly Holly) decorated cupcakes for hours the night before the party!
Bring on the party guests...
Welcome to my party!
Many people traveled great distances to attend...
Peggy came from Arkansas
And Christy traveled through 4 states to attend!
Cade eating cake for the first time was a little uneventful...
Pausing to reflect on the sugar rush?
Threatening to fling cake at the next person who snaps a picture
Present time! Loads of loot!
Puzzles!
Stylish clothes (and a hat!)
And of course, lots of toys!
Not to mention, the keys to this little beauty
Here's to incessantly pushing Cade around in this car
Um, excuse me?
This might be my favorite picture from the day
It was such a beautiful day out! Perfect for bubbles...and wiffle ball.
Parallel parking?
And of course, the gifts that really stand the test of time...boxes and balloons.
These might be his favorite...for a couple more days anyway!
Wow, I really can't believe it has already been a year. I find myself being very sentimental about how fast time is flying by. I just want to be able to relish and enjoy every phase and every moment I can with Cade.
Thanks again to our wonderful family and friends who traveled to be with us to celebrate this milestone! It may not have drawn quite the media attention of the Royal Wedding--but it was so special to us to have everyone there to help make these wonderful memories.
