Our Sweet Reese Girl. Reese is wise beyond her years, responsible and thorough yet a whimsical wild card all at the same time.
Reese plays such a special role in our family...the first one to join us who is NOT a firstborn! (She often holds her own being stubborn and bossy like a firstborn however.) She embraces her role as big sister and little sister and often reminds us of how good of a sister she is.
These last few months Reese has transitioned from preschooler to elementary kid right before my eyes! So here are around 70 pics to document it!
Reese does such a good job looking after Cam!
She loved playing instructional t-ball (last fall) and blew me away with what she knew about the game! She could answer every question the coaches asked! Doing it was another thing but she really had picked up so much from watching Matt and Cade over the years. #brothers
She is an excellent cook and so helpful around the house!
Meeting cousin Lexi
Tea for two...or three?
Matching jams with cousin Keeley
Reese enjoys going to Matt's games...and especially loves getting to befriend the cheerleaders!
Reese had an important role in the Christmas program--narrator! She did a killer job reciting ALL the lines!
Disney World Diva (Sunglasses take 2...after dropping the first pair in a lake!)
She thinks the world of aunt MaKenzie and cousin Maci!
Reese was a very brave Jedi attending the class without Cade (who chickened out...sorry Cade).
Reese is quick to fill her plate but usually gets distracted before finishing a meal. We've got a real grazer on our hands here!
I wasn't sure how it would go taking Reese to see the musical at Olathe North but she LOVED it and talked about it for weeks and weeks!
Reese lost not one but two teeth last spring!
Reese attended kindergarten round-up in Kansas but actual Kindergarten in Arizona.
Helping make her birthday cookies!
Five years old on March 22!
We celebrated with family and friends with a party at Debbie Howard's gym.
Because sometimes you want to wear your cape to the park...
Re-enacting the TimeHop pic...all her idea!
Reese LOVES being a flower girl!

Oh how we ALL miss Ms. Dora!
Reese had fun with gymnastics but has decided to do tap and ballet in Arizona this fall!
Riding the carousel at the Royals game...her happy place!

Last trip to Johnson County Museum
Reese got to join Cade and my parents for a special trip to the Wisconsin Dells (last year just Cade went). She had a blast!
Putting on a show for us...Reese loves to perform!
Matt does a great job of planning special outings with Reese. They ended their "daddy-daughter date" with front porch dancing.
Reese completed Level 2 of swimming lessons this July.
She approves of her new room and is easing into the Arizona life!
Reese LOVES school. Now I know that all little kids like to "play school" but I'm calling it now, Reese will be an amazing teacher one day!
Reese started Kindergarten on August 3rd and has been rocking it! She loves eating lunch at school and earning "points" for her table team throughout the day. She hangs on her teachers' every word and immediately rushes home to play school and replicate everything they did at school that day.
Sweet Reese, your enthusiasm for life is so amazing! Your creative and out of the box way of thinking shines through in all that you do! We pray that your love for learning and people continues to blossom as you grow. God has made you the perfect "little sister" and "big sister" for our family and we are SO thankful for you!
