This was Cade's first wedding dance, and boy, did he live it up! This is the best I could do to get a pic of the three great-grandkids...better luck next time.
Cade was very intrigued by the Joseph and Mary statues.
Grand Marching with Cade and Matt.
The bride passes through our tunnel.
Grandma and Grandpa too!
First dance as Mr. and Mrs. Kyle Taylor
Aunt Christy caught the bouquet...again!
Cade kept the dance floor hot!
This action-shot of the three of us doing the Cotton-Eyed Joe is hilarious, maybe it's the guy in the background?
People would often gather around and mimic Cade's moves. What a trend-setter.
Cade couldn't believe how late he got to stay up!
Vacay Day 2: All-Star Sports and Arcade...not quite tall enough to ride anything
But he had a blast pretending to drive the cars.
He's all about any kind of car. He prefers to be as close to the steering wheel as possible. Kinda like me?
Happy Anniversary to us! We celebrated 6 years on Saturday...at All-Star Sports...with the whole gang. And it really was a great time. We loved being with all our family and friends on our wedding day and now on our anniversary too!
Mini-golf with 9 adults and 2 kids under age 1 can get interesting...
The go-carting gang. My car was fast! Or is it just that I know how to properly maneuver the curves...it's a lot like JoCo driving to me.
Finished the night off at the batting cages.
I went with the slow softball pitches...and my arms are still so sore. I thought I might have broke my hand. I'm blaming the poor quality bat.
The guys preferred to hit the fast pitches.
Cade preferred to just take practice cuts outside the cages.
Another late night! This is his deliriously tired smile...but at least he's still smiling!
Day 3 we hit up the Tanganyika Wildlife Park in Goddard.
We could get so close to the animals!
The monkeys weren't up for performing...but notice how there's no cage? They were on their own little "monkey island."
We could walk right into the kangaroo pen.
Had some up-close encounters with the goats too.
They even walked some animals around on leashes! What a cool place!
I hope we can visit here again some time. I was telling Gentry about it and suggested she have her wedding there someday? She said she'd think about it if she got to come down the aisle on an elephant. I'll see what I can do...
Thanks for a great weekend of wild times! A perfect way to wind down the summer...
